Jordi Triquell i Muntaner was born in Vilanova i la Geltrú, spent his first year in Sitges, and since then has lived between Sant Pere de Ribes and Sitges. Now settled in Sant Pere de Ribes, he continues to be deeply involved in music, which has always been an essential part of his life.
As a versatile musician, Jordi plays the tible, clarinet, tenor saxophone, guitar, and keyboards, easily adapting to different musical styles. He has been part of bands, gralla groups, cobla ensembles, and txaranga groups, expanding his experience with a variety of rhythms and influences.
He has explored many genres, from classical music to pop, rock, Latin rhythms, and ska-reggae, all of which have shaped his musical journey.
His connection with Orquestra Maravella goes back a long way. As a child, he would go with his parents to the Festa Major dances where Maravella played.
Later, as a young man, he enjoyed dancing to their music with his partner and friends. Now, destiny has brought him to experience it from the stage, as in 2025, he joins Orquestra Maravella as part of our musical family.
Besides his love for music, Jordi is passionate about dancing and motorcycles—two hobbies that, just like music, make him feel free and full of energy.
