Maravella's International Orchestra History
The Maravella Orchestra, was born in Caldes de Malavella (Girona's province) in spring of 1951. The founder was Lluís Ferrer Puigdemont, and his successor, for many years, has been Manel Comadevall Roca. The name of "Maravella" is chosen knowing one of the names of the village in the age of romans's domain in Spain. In 2001 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of our foundation, at the central act, we were acompanied with over 3.000 fans.
The early years go by travelling abroad, so the name of "INTERNATIONAL ORCHESTRA".
